Child Protection in Angus
Information for Parents and Carers
This part of the website has been specifically designed for you if you are a parent or carer or a member of the wider community who may be concerned about a child or young person or who may simply be looking for more information.
Here in Angus we believe that the protection of children is everyone's job and that all children and young people have the right to be cared for and protected from harm and to grow up in a safe environment where their rights and needs are respected.
We all have a part to play in making sure that our children's welfare is looked after and all their needs are met.
In this part of the website you will find useful information which will help you to protect children. You will find information on safe parenting, about the child protection process, useful links to other organisations and how to contact a variety of services across Angus and elsewhere if you are worried about a child.
