Welcome to the Angus Child Protection Committee website
All children and young people in Angus have a right to be cared for and protected. We all have a part to play to ensure that children are safe and their needs are met. Here in Angus, we believe that "child protection is everyone's job and everyone's responsibility". Children's welfare is very important to us all and we take that very seriously.
On this site you will find information for children and young people, all of which is aimed at protecting children and young people and helping them to feel safe and secure. There is also information for parents and carers on a wide range of child protection topics. For those working with children and families this website provides them with more information to help them protect children and young people. There are many links to other agencies, services and groups which may be of use.
If you have any worries or concerns about a child or young person you need to speak to someone as soon as possible and tell them about your concerns.
We hope you find this website helpful and we would welcome your comments.
